Day 5. Past life regression

Today, I sunk into a past life regression meditation. I let the amazing Brian Weiss guide me with his video meditation:

This was intense and took courage to follow through. I followed Brain comfortably til the point: "now you see an open door....climb the stairs and open the door of your past life- walk through the light".
I couldn’t do it. I just couldn't get past that door….I was petrified. I realized I was not ready to experience such thing…way too much to take in at once! Way too confronting! What if you find out something that turns your life upside down....??! what if i get traumatized by some events of the past life..? After all, many have reported traumatic memories as a result of past life regression, for example the way they died.

However, I didn't want to give up so easily. So 30 minutes later, I tried again. I went back to it and started over the meditation. Weiss indicates that oftentimes one needs to try several times...It's important to reach a totally relaxed, ready and open heart &mind. HAVE NO EXPECTATIONS at all..... Let things emerge, be shown to you.

This time around, I was much more relaxed. And I was ready. I opened my 3rd eye fully and let the warm light come down into my body, inhabit every single cell from top to toes. When ready, I asked: ‘Please, show me now my past life’

The moment I asked this, I was inundated with light. Pure dense white light, flowing abundantly across my body from the crown chakra to my root chakra. It spread throughout my whole body with an incredible feeling of peace, love and softness.

I'm unsure what this means. I am very reluctant to interpret it. What was that?! ‘Was I light?’ didn’t I EVEN have a past life?! Is THAT the answer? I don’t know but apart from this wonderful feeling and light that took over me, I have no recollection of past life memories whatsoever. 

We know that there are several "types of beings" on Earth. Not all Earth life was previously here in their past lives. Not all life re-incarnated... Origins, mission, and past life context vary in each being...There may be pure light beings (‘angles') who have never been humans before, there may be energies that have never visited the Earth before and there may be others who have been humans  Earth before... Possibilities are truly infinite. 

I believe nevertheless, that there is no absolute need to explore past lives or origins...I believe all the answers we need for our evolution are right here, in the present moment, in front of our eyes. They are in the present moment awareness.
